13th Sept JB expedition

This trip is very impromptu and persistent by Kai. I was not keen due to the security there.

Met Kai 1230 Bugis MRT. Then walked to Queens Street to take bus.

Ticket to JB.

Reached Malaysia Immigration.KNN waited 1h under the stuffy office, squeezing with so many people !!!

Reached JB at 330pm. Damn hungry.

My usual haunt, Portuguese Chicken inside City Square. Kai ordered with Pasta while mine with bread.
The delighted look on Kai's face.

Walked around ... Then headed basement and saw KIM GARY!!! WAH HO SAY DIE DIE ALSO MUST EAT !!!

Damn cheap, the hot plate with chicken, pork and fish is most attractive !
Kai ordered Lemon Cola and toast. Very sweet but nice.
My drink Mango and Coconut Lure. Very nice and thick.
My order, specialty for this season Prawn Cheese Baked Rice YUMMMY !!!

After that walked around then walked outside the streets.

8pm went back CitySquare for dinner. Kai wanted to try the HK Char Chan Teng recommended by Chee Meng.

Managed to find the place in a secluded area, with Guo Jing An the owner/endorser.

Kai's order, Oyster Porridge.
My drink, Mango + Berries, damn sour and sweet !!!
My order crispy mee with shredded pork in hot and spicy sauce. I NEVER EATEN SOMETHING SO DAMN SALTY !!!
Kai's drink Mango and Chocolate.

Then we headed to JB Immigration for home. Luckily the immigration is empty.

6th Sept Hanabi Japanese Buffet @ Kings Aracde

To reward myself after completing my Tutor Marked Assignments(TMA), burning billions of brain cells, sleepless night, I decided to give myself a treat. What else but JAPANESE SASHIMI BUFFET!

My colleague told me Kushinbo @ Suntec famous for their Spider crabs and other ala carte. In the end decided to go for quality as affirmed previously at their branch at Bras Basah.

Saturday classes ended and so happened SIM had a flea market. There we took 154 and stopped opposite Coronation Plaza.

The Hanabi is located at the corner of Kings Arcade beside Coronation Plaza. Prior that made reservation reached there but was rather empty.

The utensils.

Cold Soba (Buckwheat noodles), with non-salty soya sauce.

Warm Soba in soup, not bad.
